The world’s largest open-source academic publisher leaned on me to handle hundreds of articles, spanning an array of scientific disciplines. This required a degree of rigor that one almost never encounters in fiction—a whole different set of muscles. Now, I’ll be the first to admit that this work could often be dry. Still, it rarely bored me, and it kept me on my toes. Through MDPI, I also received a certification in ACS-style English editing.
